Cancel Your Preorder on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch
If you’ve decided you no longer want your preorder, make sure to cancel the preorder before the item comes out and is generally available. For example, if you wait too long and a preordered movie is released, you’ll still have to pay.
It’s easy to cancel a preorder from the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple TV app, or Apple Books on your iOS mobile device.
Open the App Store app on your iOS device. Tap your profile photo or account icon. Tap your name. If you haven’t signed in recently, you may need to enter your password or use Face ID or Touch ID to log in. Tap Preorders. If you don’t see this option, you don’t have any preorders on your account. Tap the name of the item you want to cancel, then follow the prompts to cancel the preorder. When preordering, the money isn’t taken from your payment method until the item comes out, so there’s no need to deal with refunds.
