RELATED: Beginner Tips For Gundam Evolution
Players can choose skins that reference specific Gundam models from the shows, Stamps that have adorable nods to fan-made jokes, and they can even choose the voice of their pilot. So, let’s look over exactly how to do this and all the differences between the Pilot Voices in Gundam Evolution.
How To Change Your Pilot Voice
Now, to change the Pilot Voice in-game, it’s honestly pretty simple. To do this, players just need to:
Of course, launch the game and then Click “Press Button To Start”. Click on the “Units” Tab at the top of the main screen. Click on any unlocked Unit to go into their Customization Settings. Click on the “Pilot Voices” button which is the second from the left on the second row of four. In this menu, players will then choose whichever Pilot Voice they prefer from Type A all the way down to Type L. After clicking on the voice of choice, click “Confirm”.
Also, just like with Stamps and Weapon Ornaments, players can set individual Pilot Voices to different Units so that different characters feel like they have their own pilot. Or, alternatively, they can just apply one Pilot Voice to all of them. To apply to all, follow the same series of steps above, then after clicking “Confirm” on any of the Pilot Voices, the Confirm button should then turn into a “Apply to All” button, allowing the player to set that Voice for every Unit in one action.
Other Pilot Voice Settings
Thankfully, when choosing a Pilot Voice, players can test out all of their Voice Lines that pertain to specific actions like reloading, taking damage, or using their G-Maneuver in a match. To do so, players simply need to click on any of the play buttons in the “Auto Playback” section of the menu to the right. Using this tester method, players can figure out if a certain Pilot Voice line might sound like something that could be a mistake to have repeating in their ears all the time.
That said, each of the Pilot Voices also has its own “Custom Voice” lines that players can “Register To Palette” and use in-game. And the best part is that these lines are unique to each voice.
For example, the Type A voice has the “Watch me Shine” line while the Type B voice has a “Consider it an education” voice line in the same slot. These unique lines give each Pilot Voice its own personality which makes it even more difficult to choose between them.
Unfortunately, the game doesn’t have any recognizable Pilot Voices from any of the shows quite yet, these are all new voices, but they can easily add some in the future.
Gundam Evolution is available for PC and will release on December 1, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
